Which Oakland Raiders rookies played the best in their preseason debuts? Defensive lineman P.J. Hall perhaps stole the show…

It was a triumphant return to the coaching arena for Jon Gruden in the Oakland Raiders’ preseason debut.

But what about his rookie class?

Gruden and Reggie McKenzie put together one of the most (let’s call it) interesting 2018 Draft classes when looking at the rest of the league, starting with the decision to pick offensive tackle Kolton Miller in the first round when not many had him graded that high.

The rest of the Raiders’ draft went the unconventional route, but they identified players they believe can make an impact in their system, and they went after them.

How did those rookies fare in the preseason opener against the Detroit Lions?
