1. Debut Of New Quarterbacks

Both quarterbacks in tonight’s game will be making their first appearances in their respective uniforms. Broncos new stater Case Keenum signed a two-year deal this offseason worth $36 million dollars after throwing for 3,547 yards and 22 touchdowns to guide the Vikings to a deep playoff run. His surprising performance in 2017 came after he started the season as a backup to former Vikings QB Sam Bradford. He did not necessarily receive the long-term deal he probably wanted when he signed with Denver but his stellar play earned a few extra bucks.

Much has been discussed about quarterback Kirk Cousins and his past few seasons with the Washington Redskins. The main topic was his desire to receive a well-compensated salary while in Washington. After back-to-back franchise tags from Washington, Cousins found $84 million dollars guaranteed from the Vikings over the next three seasons. Can he maintain his recent success on the field with a Vikings squad that has very high expectations?
