The defending NFC North champion Vikings are in the Mile High city to take on the Broncos in tonight’s preseason opener for both teams. Here are three things to look for in tonight’s NFL preseason game.

Fresh off an appearance in the NFC Championship Game this past postseason, the Minnesota Vikings made a few significant moves to their roster that keeps them as championship contenders this season. The return of running back Dalvin Cook from an ACL injury will surely help. It also certainly helps when the team is able to field a defense that was the NFL leader in total defense, first in scoring, and allowed just 3.7 yards per carry.

The Denver Broncos found themselves in the cellar of the AFC West with a 5-11 record and below average play on both sides of the ball. Another season out of the playoffs would be bizarre based on the talent that the roster has consumed. There is new quarterback in place for the Broncos and a fresh face to team with veteran edge rusher Von Miller and possibly form a dangerous duo.

Both teams hit the field on Saturday night to jumpstart their preseason. Take a look at three things to closely monitor throughout the game.
