Dallas Goedert, TE

The Philadelphia Eagles traded out of the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft completely and still ended up with Dallas Goedert as their top draft pick.

Not too shabby.

Goedert was stellar in his debut with the Eagles, catching four passes for 66 yards and a touchdown.

The Eagles lost Trey Burton to the Chicago Bears in free agency this offseason, but that doesn’t appear as though it’s going to be an issue.

Goedert has been impressing greatly throughout training camp and the Eagles got a glimpse in this game of the type of impact he’s capable of making in this initial preseason game.

Will it prompt a trade of Zach Ertz before the start of the regular season?

Who knows?

For now, the Eagles have enviable depth up and down the roster and this is more evidence of that.
