The Chicago Bears have a number of new weapons on offense this season, but rookie wide receiver Anthony Miller is wasting no time turning heads…

The Chicago Bears and their fan base have every right to be excited about their new offensive weaponry heading into 2018.

The fanbase is incredibly optimistic about the development of quarterback Mitch Trubisky, their top pick in the 2017 NFL Draft and with the type of talent the team has surrounded him with, can anyone blame them?

While the Bears made some major additions in free agency by bringing in guys like wide receiver Allen Robinson and tight end Trey Burton, they also supplemented their free agent acquisitions by making moves in the NFL Draft.

One player they brought in who could end up being a star rather quickly is wide receiver Anthony Miller, a second-round draft pick out of Memphis.

The typical rule every year is not to overreact to training camp highlights, but these two particular videos circulating Twitter are hard to ignore…

Former NFL executive and Senior Bowl director Phil Savage was in attendance at Bears camp and had some glowing remarks for Miller as well.

Miller suffered a calf injury at his pro day after not working out at the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine, but still managed to post a 4.50 in the 40-yard dash and a ridiculous 39-inch vertical jump.

Miller’s explosive athleticism (and apparently also a fully healthy body) are on display in these two training camp videos and if onlookers are saying he looked like the best player on the field, the sky is the limit for him in year one.

At Memphis, Miller showed off his outstanding ball tracking ability and physicality at the catch point on a regular basis. He had 14 touchdowns this past season and could factor into the Bears’ offensive plans in a big way his rookie season.

If he keeps making plays like these at camp, they’ll have no choice but to get him more snaps.
