Brandon Browner Arrested on Several Charges After Police Chase

It’s clear the retirement life is getting off to a really bad start for ex-NFL cornerback Brandon Browner as the latest news would indicate.
The 33-year old is apparently arrested following a chase by police. It involves a series of major charges that include kidnapping and grand theft auto among others. Setting aside what exactly is happening, if he’s convicted on even one of those he’ll be spending a long time in prison. The NFL umbrella is no longer there to soften his fall as they’ve done for others in the past.
NBC Los Angeles added some clarification as to how events transpired though details remain painfully thin. All that is known is there was a chase, he was caught and now he’s facing a serious situation in court.
"“Former NFL player Brandon Browner was arrested Sunday following a police chase in Azusa.Per the La Verne Police Department, Browner was wanted for kidnapping, false imprisonment, burglary, grand theft auto and violation of restraining order. The chase ended on the 210 Freeway, near Azusa, and Browner is in custody per the La Verne Police Department.”"
This is merely the latest in a string of incidents dating back to 2017 for Browner. He was arrested for cocaine possession last year. Then earlier this year he was brought in again for child endangerment and domestic battery. That no doubt led to the restraining order he eventually violated in the past 24 hours.
It’s amazing fall from grace for Browner. At one point in time he was among the more successful cornerbacks in the NFL. He went to a Pro Bowl in 2011. Then he helped the Seahawks win the Super Bowl in 2013 and the Patriots to do the same a year later in 2014. It’s hard to imagine he went from that to a potentially long prison sentence in a matter of just four years.
