Broncos, Bengals, Browns attending Baker Mayfield Pro Day
Multiple big names are on hand to watch Baker Mayfield workout in Norman
College Pro Days are starting across the country, which means NFL personnel are racking up their airline miles and scouting the talent before the NFL Draft. On Wednesday Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield and his fellow Sooners hosted their Pro Day with multiple NFL executives and coaches in attendance.
One team that’s receiving the most attention at Mayfield’s Pro Day, according to NFL.com senior analyst Gil Brandt, is the Denver Broncos, who have multiple key executives on hand. Despite Wednesday being the first day of free agency, general manager John Elway and head coach Vance Joseph were in attendance along with Gary Kubiak and Director of Player Personnel Matt Russell.
Denver is expected to sign former Vikings quarterback Case Keenum to a short-term deal, potentially making him the bridge to a rookie or the still developing Paxton Lynch.
Joseph is one of only a few head coaches in attendance, with Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis reportedly on hand. Rumors are that Miami Dolphins head coach Adam Gase will be in town, although he has not been officially spotted.

Miami is scheduled to have a dinner with Mayfield in Norman, and the Broncos will host the quarterback for an official visit in Denver. The Dolphins will be in the market for a quarterback after Ryan Tannehill underwent a second ACL surgery and Jay Cutler came out of retirement.
Jets general manager Mike Maccagnan was also spotted despite the team signing quarterbacks Teddy Bridgewater and Josh McCown in free agency.
Of course, Mayfield isn’t the only one working out at Oklahoma’s pro day. Offensive tackle Orlando Brown is looking to reclaim himself as a first round pick after running a putrid 5.85 40 yard dash at the combine. Reports are he ran a 5.63 on Wednesday, which is certainly an improvement.

Other notable Oklahoma players coming out in this years draft include tight end Mark Andrews, pass rusher Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, cornerback Jordan Thomas, and running back Dimitri Flowers.
