Former Heisman winner and first round quarterback Johnny Manziel is apparently working hard and priming himself for a comeback to football…

Johnny Manziel is attempting to come back to football.

This is not a drill.

Manziel has put together a compilation of his workouts and is really trying to hype up what he’s calling ‘#ComebackSZN’.

Take a look:

Manziel recently appeared on Good Morning America, and opened up about a lot of things including his alcohol abuse and that he’s being treated for bipolar disorder.

He says he was diagnosed as bipolar about a year ago, and perhaps that discovery has been the catalyst to his recovery and ultimately his renewed focus.

Manziel is engaged, and is obviously putting in a lot of work to get a job with some professional football team, and you know someone is going to come calling.

More from NFL Mocks

It won’t be in the NFL, not in 2018 at least, and Manziel is going to have to put on a show in another professional league just to get NFL teams’ ears to perk up again. The way he left the NFL didn’t exactly leave the door open for future opportunities.

Manziel really blew a golden opportunity he was given when he was initially drafted by the Cleveland Browns, but as Josh Gordon has proven, if you’re good enough in the NFL someone will always be willing to give you a chance.

The problem with Manziel, unlike with Gordon, is that he proved to most everyone that he either wasn’t good enough, or he wasn’t willing to put in the work.

I’ve always believed that if Manziel would apply himself, he could be a good NFL quarterback. Here’s hoping that’s the case. I would love to watch Manziel play again, even in a lower level professional league. His would be a remarkable comeback story.
