Baltimore Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey arrested in Alabama
The Baltimore Ravens first-round pick was booked overnight
Baltimore Ravens rookie cornerback Marlon Humphrey was arrested and booked on fourth-degree robbery and harassment misdemeanor charges in Tuscaloosa, Alabama last week, according to the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s booking information.
The 16th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft out of Alabama was booked on $2,500 bond. Humphrey tweeted Thursday morning “Life is Good” as a general sign of strength following his arrest.
According to the police report, Humphrey was accused of attempting to steal a $15 phone charger at a hotel on Jan. 13. Considering the news did not break until this week, it’s unlikely Humphrey faces any major charges.

Humphrey played 16 games for the Ravens, but started just five, in his rookie season. Recording 11 pass deflections and two interceptions Humphrey’s season was generally regarded as a success in Baltimore. His arrest will likely be followed up by a suspension handed down by the NFL.
Below is the police report out of Alabama, which is coincidentally where the NFL has convened for the Senior Bowl.
Even if Humphrey isn’t convicted the league could still levy a penalty under the Personal Conduct Policy. One game is a likely assumption if Humphrey walks away from this unscathed from a legal perspective.
Coming out of Alabama the 21-year-old Humphrey had just five interceptions and 13 pass deflections.
