One of the biggest questions in the 2018 NFL Draft has officially graduated

Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen crossed the stage in Laramie, helping secure the possibility he becomes available for the 2018 NFL Draft. It wasn’t a given he’d graduate in time to be eligible for the Senior Bowl but a late push got him over the finish line.

According to sources, Allen may not partake in one of the draft’s premier exhibition games.

Once thought to be a rising collegiate star for the Cowboys Allen slipped in the beginning of the season thanks to turnovers and a lack of experience around him. His upside is still intriguing NFL talent evaluators and the senior quarterback carries a high draft projection.

Much of his stock may depend on his health after a shoulder injury put him out for several games late in the season. Allen says he hopes to play in the Idaho Farms Potato Bowl, although it would be a convenient way out of a meaningless bowl game.

With his diploma in hand, Allen would be eligible to play in the Reese’s Senior Bowl, which would help his stock significantly after a down season.

According to sources, Allen is leaning towards playing in the Senior Bowl in Mobile, although that decision may change based on his representation’s influence. Ultimately it’ll be Allen’s decision whether or not to feature himself in Mobile, but there may be people in his ear pushing him towards staying healthy and training on the side.

Luke Falk and Mason Rudolph currently feature quarterback room that have accepted their invitation to Mobile. Allen would fill the sixth and final roster spot for quarterbacks if he accepts his invitation.
