Tyreek Hill — Hail Mary?

More from NFL Mocks

The Dallas Cowboy are playing prevent defense, with three men rushing and a linebacker in the middle of the field. That means, on this particular play, there are seven defenders waiting by or near the goal line, ready to deflect a hail mary pass from Alex Smith.

So what do the Chiefs do? They just give the ball to Tyreek Hill, and let him do the rest.

Hill does what he does best, and eludes defenders once he gets the football, but this play is particularly odd because the Cowboys have seven players defending the goal line.

Seven!

Hill is a great playmaker, but there’s no way he or any other player in the NFL right now should be able to score in this situation.

Look at the yards after the catch!

This is definitely one of Hill’s most well-earned touchdowns in his NFL career, and one of those types of bonehead plays the Cowboys can thankfully laugh about after a victory at home.
