NFL Trade Deadline: Grades and reactions to huge moves

The NFL Trade Deadline is typically one of the most quiet deadlines in sports, but in 2017, that hasn’t been the case. We grade and react to the huge moves.

Though the NFL trade deadline typically comes and goes without anyone knowing about it, it’s a refreshing change of pace to see some big deals being made.

While we typically get plenty of fun little rumors around this time of year, nothing every really materializes because of the way the NFL’s salary cap is set up, and how difficult it is for players to transition to new teams mid-season.

Apparently, that hasn’t been much of an issue this year, as big moves are being made seemingly left and right.

And rumor has it — we’re not done.

More than what we’re used to, we could be seeing teams that are in danger of a ‘lost’ season give up some assets that are valuable to other teams, and teams that happen to have some cap space are open and willing to make these moves.

Let’s take a look at some of the big trades happening around the NFL as we are now at the midway point of the season for most teams, including Tuesday morning’s big news out of Philadelphia…
