NFL rumors: Potential Navorro Bowman destinations

1. New England Patriots

Why would the New England Patriots try and get Bowman?

Well, just take a look at their hideous defensive rankings so far this season.

Total yardage allowed — 32nd.

Passing yardage allowed — 32nd.

Rushing yardage allowed — 24th.

The Patriots’ defense has taken a dive into Rock Bottom after their top overall ranking last season, largely due to their lack of talent on that side of the football. Bowman would help solidify some of that, and give the Patriots a leader from the linebacker position that could have a ripple effect to other positions.

The question here is whether or not the Patriots could move around sufficient funds for this move.
