Taking a look at potential free agent destinations for San Francisco 49ers linebacker Navorro Bowman. Where will he wind up playing?

Who wants a star linebacker? The San Francisco 49ers are apparently in business, and are shopping former All-Pro and defensive captain Navorro Bowman, who has been with the team the past eight seasons.

Bowman signed a four-year contract extension with team options through 2022, but the 49ers are apparently willing to send that contract elsewhere.

Now, he’s been released from that contract and is free to sign with any team.

Bowman has been one of the most heavily utilized defensive players for the 49ers this season, playing 354 snaps. According to Pro Football Focus, Bowman leads the 49ers with 31 tackles and 17 stops so far this season.
