9. Cooper Kupp, WR, Los Angeles Rams

If you’re a Los Angeles Rams fan, you’ve got to be thrilled with how the offense played on Sunday, even if it was against the Indianapolis Colts’ hapless defense.

While the Colts are very bad, this was a sign of major progression in Los Angeles and it was due large in part to the creative scheming by head coach Sean McVay, and the progression of Jared Goff.

Of course, it helps to have solid targets in the passing game, and Cooper Kupp appears to be a draft steal for the Rams, who didn’t have a first round pick this past year.

Kupp had the highest wide receiver rating in the NFL among rookies this past weekend, which is essentially the same rating as quarterback rating, but transferred over to the receiver position. It measures the efficiency of a receiver when the ball is thrown his way.

Kupp scored his first career touchdown and showed his ability to make plays at every level of the field, winning the matchups underneath, going up and getting a jump ball, and beating a defensive back deep down the middle of the field.
