We knew the rookie class in the 2017 NFL season was going to be special, but I don’t think anyone really anticipated just the amount of early impact these young players would have.

Across the league, rookies are making major contributions, and obviously there were more than 10 good performances from young players this week but we have to start somewhere.

10. Tre’Davious White, CB, Buffalo Bills

Here, we begin by taking a look at the performance by Tre’Davious White, the first round draft pick of the Buffalo Bills and a player who is going to be counted on to do big things in a secondary that took on a lot of change over the course of the offseason in Buffalo.

White was the highest graded rookie cornerback in the NFL this past weekend according to Pro Football Focus, and proved why Buffalo coaches were so eager to get him as many snaps as possible early on in his NFL career.

The Bills showed a lot of confidence in White, trading away Ronald Darby and letting Stephon Gillmore walk in free agency this offseason. This is the type of impact they’ll be expecting of him on a weekly basis, not just against teams like New York who really struggle passing the ball.
