New Orleans Saints vs. Minnesota Vikings: How to watch online, T.V. information, and more for this week one Monday Night Football matchup…

The New Orleans Saints are traveling to Minneapolis, MN for a week one matchup against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football. This is an interesting matchup between a high powered offense in the Saints and quarterback Drew Brees against a very tough defense from Minnesota.

One major storyline heading into this game is the return of running back Adrian Peterson to the city where he had a Hall of Fame caliber career. Peterson, wearing a different uniform for the first time in his NFL career that started back in 2007, will undoubtedly receive a warm welcome from Vikings fans.

What to Watch For

Of particular interest to me in this game is the transition at running back for the Minnesota Vikings, going from Adrian Peterson and his injury replacements (Jerick McKinnon, Matt Asiata) to a true star at the collegiate level in Dalvin Cook.

Cook fell in the draft due to some concerns off the field, but the Vikings moved up in round two to scoop him up after not having a first round draft choice.

On the other side, the Saints have an exceptionally deep group of running backs, starting with Peterson and last year’s starter, Mark Ingram. They also drafted Alvin Kamara out of Tennessee, adding to their big play arsenal.
