1. The Return Of Adrian Peterson

For 10 seasons, Adrian Peterson was everything for the Minnesota Vikings. He totaled 11,747 yards and 97 touchdowns in a Vikings uniform. Now he has plans to “stick it” to the team he called “home” for a decade.

Whether or not Peterson still has some juice as a 31-year-old running back with plenty of miles on those tires remains to be seen. However, the Saints did not bring Peterson in to ride the bench and be a veteran voice in the locker room. Saints head coach Sean Payton wants to open up his passing game and by doing that, he will need Peterson to be the vintage, hard-nosed running back that it is.

It will be the biggest headline going into the Monday night contest. The Vikings defense is no pushover and they will also be looking forward to shutting down their former teammate.
