57. Markus Wheaton was expected to be that much-needed deep threat the Bears have lacked for years. Unfortunately injuries continue to haunt him from an appendix issue to a broken finger. It’s hard to know whether he has any sort of future on the team. Calvin Ridley would be the draft solution to said problem. He demonstrated his big play ability for Alabama. This despite a freshman QB. He’s got decent size and true deep speed. His route running showed marked progress last year, enabling him to get wide open on several occasions.
