3. Titans sign CB Logan Ryan

There was no doubt about it — the Tennessee Titans needed to get better in the secondary this offseason.

That was accomplished by a variety of moves, but none more underrated that signing Logan Ryan away from the New England Patriots.

Not only does Ryan have the playoff pedigree and championship mettle the Titans need in their locker room and on the field, but he has the type of toughness and physicality you covet in a top cornerback.

I don’t know that any team made as significant a leap this offseason than the Titans, who still have plenty of work to do defensively, but this is a cornerstone piece.
