7. player. 54. The Philadelphia Eagles are putting much of their hope into Carson Wentz at quarterback. Not a surprise. That’s typically what a franchise is expected to do if they want to win a championship. At the same time, it’s unreasonable to expect a young quarterback to do everything himself. Sure the Eagles added more weapons on the outside, but one thing they really didn’t do was give Wentz a proper ground game. <p>Maybe LeGarrette Blount and Donnel Pumphrey give it a boost but neither are true feature-type backs. Saquon Barkley is. It seems like such a match made in heaven. Barkley with his versatile skill set and size, coming out of Penn State and going to Philadelphia down I-76. Just three hours away. That’s about as ideal as it can get for any draft prospect and any team. Barkley is exactly what the Eagles need and he’s already a star to many Pennsylvania football fans.</p>. RB. Penn State.
