player. 52. The Jacksonville Jaguars has remained aggressive in their attempts to improve the secondary. A.J. Bouye was a big purchase in free agency. He’ll join Jalen Ramsey at cornerback. The trickier position at present is safety. On paper it looks like the Jaguars might have something with Tashaun Gipson and Barry Church. At the same time neither man has been the most consistent performer in their careers, which is never a good thing. <p>That’s why the team has no qualms about grabbing Derwin James in the draft. They go back to the Florida State well for more help on the back end. James is the real deal. He’s got the ideal size at 6’3″ with the ability to play in the box but also the range to make an impact in the passing game.
