31. New England Patriots

Clemson. Kendall Joseph . 31. player. 47. Bill Belichick is a sucker for players who can do more than one thing well. He loves versatility, especially on defense. Loading and re-loading the linebacker position has become sort of a time-honored tradition in New England. Expect that to continue in 2018. Free agency and trades dealt a blow to the Patriots’ depth in that area. The arrival of Derek Rivers will help but they still could use another body in the mix.
Kendall Joseph was so overlooked at times last year. Amazing to think about given how much Clemson was in the spotlight. Joseph was all over the field making tackles. He piled up 108 for the season including 13.5 for a loss and 3.5 sacks. The guy has no fear playing near the line of scrimmage but still has the speed and instinct to drop in coverage if asked. An easy piece to move around.
. LB
