30. Atlanta Falcons

Adonis Alexander . 30. player. 44. It’s well known that Dan Quinn is building a defensive system in Atlanta that is similar to what he had as defensive coordinator of the Seattle Seahawks. One huge asset, literally and figuratively he enjoyed while there was Richard Sherman. A long, athletic corner who could often smother receivers while also being a huge help against the ground game as a tackler. It shouldn’t surprise that the Falcons are looking out for another such type.
Adonis Alexander is built in that mold. He’s every bit of 6’3″ with the athleticism and ball skills to be a real problem in coverage. Also coming from Virginia Tech means he’s been coached well and is physical. He might not have top of the line speed but Sherman has proven for years that this isn’t everything when playing pass defense. Quinn will know exactly how to employ him.
. CB. Virginia Tech
