NFL Madden 18: 10 NFL players who could grace the cover
Khalil Mack
Few fans are as passionate as Raiders fans, so the desire for one of their own to get this type of recognition should be high.
Just three seasons into his NFL career Khalil Mack is one of the more ferocious pass rushers in the league. Back to back seasons with double-digit sacks and All-Pro honors at two positions separates Mack from the rest of the pack.
A defensive lineman has never been selected to be on the cover of Madden, and the last linebacker to make the cover was Ray Lewis in 2005.
Derek Carr
Oakland’s quarterback is just as worthy as Mack to grace the cover of Madden. Quickly becoming the league’s best quarterbacks, Carr competed for the league MVP through the final weeks of the season.
If not for a broken leg, Carr had an opportunity to beat out Matt Ryan for the MVP and take the Raiders on their first playoff run since 2002. Connor Cook ended up losing the Raiders lone playoff game, leaving the fans wondering what could have been had Carr been healthy.
