59. The Miami Dolphins could go in several directions with this first pick but while DE, G, and DT are all needs, linebacker stands out. This years draft is not as deep outside of round one for linebackers so Miami can afford to wait and take a starting caliber DE in round two. Cunningham is a player who can slide inside or work outside and the Dolphins need that versatility.<br /> Cunningham is strong and has the speed that Miami needs for an outside linebacker. More iportantly he can shed blocks and make tackles at the point of attack. This should help with the Dolphins poor run defense. Miami still does not know if Koa Misi will return at 100% so Cunningham makes a lot of sense for the Dolphins.<br /> It’s always possible that Mike Tannenbaum could trade down from this spot and if a quarterback needy team sees an available QB here, he just might. Miami only has 7 picks in the draft and their only 3rd round pick is a comp pick. There has been a lot of talk in Miami about getting new picks and the best value is trading  pick 22.. LB. Vanderbilt. Zach Cunningham. 22. player
