ESPN Predicts Their 5 Best NFL Teams in 2017

They ranked 22nd last year (including 31st in passing yards allowed) yet still won the division at 10-6 and went to the playoffs for an eighth consecutive season. But they probably need more from their defense to get to the Super Bowl. At this point, this still looks like a team that might come up short in that regard once again.”"

Every year it seems like Green Bay is finally ready to miss the playoffs and every year they go on a late run to make it. Of course the reason for that is obvious. Having one of the two best quarterbacks in all of football makes such feats easier. Aaron Rodgers just makes life better for the Packers. That doesn’t mean he’s any less frustrated they haven’t gotten to a Super Bowl seven years after winning his first. Odds are they’ll be near the top of the NFC picture from start to finish. Largely thanks to his singular brilliance as usual.
