Despite the obvious need for talented young defensive players, the Steelers are truly in a best player available situation in the first round. This draft is loaded with defensive talent but the Steelers have the opportunity to round out a top tier receiving corps with an unprecedented athlete at the tight end position.

Njoku has the size, speed, and immense athleticism to become the best tight end in Steelers history and would be a huge upgrade from the injury riddled Ladarius Green. Jesse James is serviceable but he will never develop into the all-around threat Njoku already is. With only a few more years of Roethlisberger left, the Steelers give Ben a freak athlete at arguably his favorite position to throw to.

This would be a great fit for Pittsburgh, and Njoku checks all the boxes: big time red-zone threat, speed to outrun linebackers, and the potential to become an excellent blocker. Steel City and fantasy owners will welcome the former Hurricane with open arms.
