NFL Draft: Reuben Foster Sent Home From NFL Combine After Argument
NFL teams will not have an opportunity to meet with top linebacker Reuben Foster after an alleged altercation
Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster is on a flight from Indianapolis to Tuscaloosa a couple of days earlier than he originally planned.
Reports out of the NFL Combine have emerged saying the star linebacker is being sent home after an alleged argument with a hospital worker on Thursday.
Adam Schefter was the first to report Foster was being sent home by the combine officials, who have cracked down on players with character concerns and other looming allegations.
Foster was most likely undergoing some form of a medical test on Thursday once he arrived at the NFL Combine. Doctors evaluate every player that participates at the Combine to check for conditions, injuries, and sometimes for drug testing.

Foster did undergo shoulder surgery to repair his right rotator cuff, supposedly after Alabama lost in the National Championship to Clemson.
The reasoning behind Foster’s argument with the hospital is unknown at this point.
Schefter also reported that Foster was scheduled to meet with NFL teams on Friday and Saturday. A subsequent report from Katherine Terrell came out saying Foster did not have a good interview with a team at the combine.
ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. labeled Foster the “best linebacker Alabama has ever produced,” a lofty statement from someone who essentially invented the NFL Draft coverage business.
How much this incident affects Foster’s draft stock is yet to be seen. He was a consensus top-10 pick before this event, and until further details emerge there will be only speculation.
