LeSean McCoy Shares Cryptic Post Regarding Future in Buffalo
LeSean McCoy is scaring Bills fans on Twitter this morning
Buffalo running back LeSean McCoy is coming off another 1,000 rushing yard season, but his future with the Bills was questioned as a new coaching staff enters the fray.
Sunday morning McCoy posted a cryptic message on Instagram and Twitter that caused many fans to think the team had released him.
While the full meaning of the post is still not known, people are jumping to conclusions that McCoy is out in Buffalo after just two seasons.
The past-tense word “was” and the thank you cause several people to believe the Bills made McCoy a victim of the salary cap.
Buffalo would save only $1 million if they cut McCoy in the third year of a new contract.
This could still be true, but it’s looking more and more likely McCoy had returned to Buffalo for an appearance and was thankful for the turnout from the Bills faithful.

Then-Eagles coach Chip Kelly traded McCoy prior to the 2015 season for linebacker Kiko Alonso, who was subsequently traded to Miami the following year in a flurry of moves to draft quarterback Carson Wentz.
Former Eagles coach Sean McDermott was recently hired to lead Buffalo after the departure of Rex Ryan, and many saw the Philadelphia connection between the two.
It looks as if McCoy is here to stay in Buffalo, but the questions will continue until he clarifies his statement.
