Like DeAndre Hopkins was before signing with the Tennessee Titans, the Pro Bowl running back is being patient and waiting for the right situation. He is also enjoying the process of free agency since he was released from the Minnesota Vikings back in June.
NFL free agency has been a great experience for Dalvin Cook
While there has been no shortage of suitors for Cook, the dynamic running back is enjoying the open market as he gets to choose where he wants to go. Speaking to FOX 9, a local affiliate in Minnesota, Cook described his free agency process as “fun,” which he gives an interesting explanation.
"“The process is fun, you embrace it,” Cook told FOX 9. “If you don’t want to be wanted by people, then something’s wrong. As long as people want me, I’m good. I know I’m in the right spot. But going through this process has been fun. It’s been different every day, waking up with a different schedule. Just enjoying it. I think when it comes down to it, I just make the right decision.”"
Ranked by ESPN as the eigth best running back in the NFL, the 27-year old is coming off another 1,000-yard season and would instantly improve the offense of a number of teams around the NFL.
That is why the process has been a patient one for Cook who does have some offers on the board. Obviously, the money is the big motivation in where he ultimately signs, but here are 5 teams where Dalvin Cook could make the biggest impact in 2023.
