New York Giants

Prediction: The Giants will pick up left tackle Andrew Whitworth in free agency

More from NFL Mocks

The Giants have already jumpstarted their offseason with the releasing of veterans Victor Cruz and Rashad Jennings. Those moves will save around $10 million dollars in cap space with more important moves to come.

One avenue they will likely address this offseason is on the offensive line. At the left tackle spot to be specific. Current starter Ereck Flowers has underwhelmed and the likelihood of him being a starter in 2017 has diminished tremendously.

The left tackle position is not exactly great in the draft also. However, Cincinnati Bengals tackle Andrew Whitworth provides a solid option. For one, he is an established veteran and is entering his 12th season. While he is seasoned, he is a better option than the former first round pick in Flowers. Whitworth will hit the free agency market and will have plenty of suitors. The Giants will target Whitworth early and often. Locking their sights on Whitworth can give the Giants offensive line a tremendous boost.
