Prediction

This smells, feels, looks, and even tastes like a classic shootout. Keep Manning upright and sparking a running game behind running backs Rashad Jennings and Shane Vereen will be arguably the biggest tasks on offense for the Giants. Stopping Beckham is one thing for Dallas but Shepard is better than many give him credit for and his combination with Beckham can lead to huge numbers posted by Manning.

Now the tests are real for Prescott in his regular season debut. He has veteran weapons in the wide receiver trio that is led by Bryant around and possibly the best offensive line in the game today. On defense for Dallas, the line in particular, will see some cloudy days and they will likely start with this Week 1 showdown.

Both defenses are pretty suspect but what will make the Cowboys stand out a little more is their ability to create holes in run game with Elliott and backup Alfred Morris. Something the Giants can seem to relate to at the moment.

Prediction: Cowboys, 38-31
