CON:  Alshon Jeffery still suffers concentration issues

Talent was never in question for Alshon Jeffery. Everybody knows he’s a beast from a physical standpoint. The problem has been questions of toughness and of commitment to his craft. He missed seven games with injury last year and showed again this preseason that his concentration can get away from him too often. Just replay that dropped pass against Kansas City that would’ve been a touchdown to let it sink in. If Alshon wants that big payday, he can’t afford putting plays like that on film.

PRO:  Jeremy Langford looks like the real deal

Experts have been quick to pile on Jeremy Langford, saying he’s got zero chance of being anywhere close to productive this season. Yet despite running behind a makeshift offensive line he’s managed to post some impressive runs over the past three weeks. The explosion is still there and he seems ready and willing to handle a heavy workload. His extensive playing time proves the Bears believe in him. What will happen when the playbook is really opened up and the line is set?
