Marcus Mariota (Tennessee Titans)

The bursts of outstanding play were hard to miss from Marcus Mariota in 2015. Twice he threw four touchdowns in a game for the Tennessee Titans. This despite constant harassment from pass rushers thanks to a sub-par offensive line. Since then the team has taken steps to improve that problem, drafting tackle Jack Conklin and promoting offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey to head coach. It’s clear his health and stability are foremost on their minds moving forward.

Then there is the matter of his weaponry. Chances should be there for Mariota to excel in 2016. The pairing of Demarco Murray and Derrick Henry at running back is going to give defenses some aches and pains, thus allowing his receivers to create big gains off play action. Kendall Wright, Andre Johnson, Tajae Sharpe and Rishard Matthews may not form a star-studded group but it’s a great mix of experience and young upside that should prove quite productive.
