Former NFL quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow is reportedly going to be holding a workout for Major League Baseball teams this month…

Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow isn’t necessarily ditching his pro football dreams, but he’s moving on to another sport…for now.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Tebow is going to be holding a workout for all 30 MLB teams this month, and some expect him to actually get a shot pretty quickly.

Listen. People like to poke fun at Tim Tebow, but there’s no questioning that he is an elite level athlete. He might be a lousy NFL quarterback, but he’s a physical specimen and professional sports are better with him in them.

That being said, it will be interesting to see how the work he has put in over the last year on the baseball diamond will work out. In case you didn’t know, Tebow was a very good baseball player in high school, which was over 10 years ago now, and he was pretty darn good back then.

It’s going to be interesting to see what kind of response there is to Tebow being in a new sport, but you have to think at least some team is going to give him a shot.
