Final Predictions for the 2016 Season

On paper, LSU has the talent, depth, and leadership to do big things in 2016.

And with a favorable schedule that consists of home contests against fellow SEC West heavyweights Ole Miss and Alabama, there’s no reason why the Tigers can’t make their very first College Football Playoff appearance.

The key to success for LSU will be incorporating a true vertical threat into their offense. If Les Miles and Co. can make that happen whilst getting the most out of Brandon Harris, the wins will follow.

With Miles’ job on the line, the Tigers will find their way into the CFP, riding the play of an improved, dynamic offense and an imposing defense. Fournette will enjoy another stellar season, but ultimately finishes as the runner-up for the Heisman Trophy.

As you might’ve guessed, Miles decisively removes himself from the hot seat, erasing all doubt that he’s not the man for job at LSU.

What a year it’ll be in Baton Rouge.
