Aqib Talib Reportedly Shot At Dallas Night Club

Denver Broncos fans are about to get a rude wakeup call.  New via Rebecca Lopez of WFAA_TV in the Dallas area, who covers the local police department delivered some shocking news regarding Pro Bowl cornerback Aqib Talib.

Please keep in mind this information has just come out.  There is no details as yet to the extent of the incident other than the fact that Talib was at the club and was one of the people hit.  The 30-year old is fresh off helping the Broncos win their third Super Bowl in franchise history and reaching his third-straight Pro Bowl.  One can only hope the extent of the damage is not life-threatening.  Never mind his football career, he has family and friends to think about as well.

UPDATE

Per the Dallas Morning News, more information has come out about exactly what happened:

"“A patron pulled out a gun and shot one person inside V Live, 1311 Empire Central Drive, before the fight continued outside, where another person was shot.The two victims were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and police are looking for the others involved.”"

Talib was among those people taken and is said to be recovering, which for the moment hints that he is not in any sort of critical condition.
