Baltimore Ravens: 2016 NFL Draft Grades
Arguably the steal of the entire, Kenneth Dixon is coming into a situation in Baltimore where he has a chance to push Justin Forsett for the starting job at running back. Besides Ezekiel Elliot, Dixon was arguably the best running back in the 2016 draft class despite having Heisman winner Derrick Henry being drafted ahead of him.
A jack of all trades, Dixon is a three-down back who could help establish a more younger movement along the team’s backfield. I don’t think Lorenzo Taliaferro and Javorius Allen will beat him out for the backup job and Forsett may have to look over his shoulder during the start of the season.
I think this was an excellent value pick in the fourth round and the long-term investment for the their starting running back. Amongst the many draft picks that they had in the fourth, Dixon may have the most value has an all-around player who has a playing style that will make him a problem among other teams in their division.
