1. Quarterback

The Philadelphia Eagles do not have a franchise quarterback and it’s not hard to figure out why the Eagles traded up for the No. 2 overall pick in the draft. Carson Wentz will likely be the pick, which Sam Bradford isn’t a big fan of. Unfortunately for him, the Eagles don’t really care what he thinks and he could find himself shipped out of Philadelphia very, very soon.

2. Running Back

Ryan Mathews was impressive in his first year with the Eagles, but his injury history is a cause for concern. Darren Sproles is one of the most electrifying players in the league, but he is pushing 33 years old and would not be able to handle the beating that comes along with being a workhorse back. The Eagles would be wise to use one of their early draft picks on a running back like Paul Perkins or Alex Collins to take some weight off the shoulders of Mathews and Sproles.

3. Offensive Tackle

Jason Peters is in the twilight of his career and the Eagles haven’t drafted an offensive tackle since 2013. An offense cannot be efficient without a competent group of linemen and the Eagles must make sure to draft a player like Jerald Hawkins or Avery Young if they are available.
