Having missed out on the quarterback rush, Rex Ryan and his Buffalo Bills will have to focus their attention elsewhere.  Continues the personnel shift to his 3-4 system remains a must.  Mario Williams is gone and the defense still doesn’t have a defensive end who fits the scheme that can rush the passer as he had in New York.  Vernon Butler fits that profile. <p> </p> <p>Big, long and quick for his size, he has the look of a interior pass rusher but there is no doubt his bulk and long arms make five-technique a position he can thrive at.  There are lingering concerns about his lack of lower body strength but those are minor issues.  Butler is already a dynamic lineman who has room to get so much better.  Put him under Ryan’s guidance and expect great things to happen.  If Marcell Dareus can adapt as well, Buffalo will be back to dominating up front.</p>.
