NFL Combine Scouting Notes: Running Backs
The NFL Draft season has officially started! The 2016 NFL Combine has begun, and our first look at player workouts have commenced. There has been some surprises, both good and bad just like every year. I hope everyone is ready for April, because it is very fast approaching. This year should definitely be interesting, because in my opinion there are only a few players that are clearly ahead of everyone else, but for the most part every position is very competitive as to who is the top dog.
Yes, Jalen Ramsey is clearly the top defensive back in this draft. Tunsil is clearly the top offensive lineman. No one else has really stepped up as the top of their position.

As some readers may know I’m a running backs coach myself, so what better position for me to break down than the running backs? Just like I mentioned before, no one has truly stepped up as the top running back in this draft….at least in my opinion. I know, Ezekial Elliott is the top running back for most, and I’m not putting him down the list by any means. He is easily one of the top players at his position, but I have my concerns. I am very picky when it comes to the little things, especially for running backs.
So let’s take a look at some of my Risers and Fallers at the running back position.
