Wentz, Goff Among Quarterbacks to Throw at NFL Combine
Rarely do the big name quarterback prospects throw at the NFL Combine. This year, all seven of the upper-tier prospects will reportedly throw this week in Indianapolis. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport says guys like Carson Wentz, Jared Goff and Connor Cook will be among the quarterbacks throwing at this years NFL Combine.

Goff and Wentz are considered to be the top two quarterbacks in a class with a lot of questions. Wentz won multiple Division III championships at North Dakota State while Goff exceeded expectations at Cal this past year.
Also among this years class are Big 10 quarterbacks Connor Cook and Christian Hackenberg. Two guys with big questions surrounding them, it is probably smart for them to throw and show they have made improvements since the end of their college careers. Both suffered upper body injuries at the end of their college playing days, so hopefully throwing will show that they are fully healthy.
Dak Prescott, Paxton Lynch, and Cardale Jones are also big question marks. All three have been inconsistent in their college careers and will most likely be projects in the NFL.
There will be 18 quarterbacks attending the NFL Combine this year, which is five more than there were last year in a class that featured Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota. Quarterbacks will be working out on Saturday with running backs and wide receivers.
