– Houston CB William Jackson III has built a impressive reputation along with draft twitter. After watching four of his games, including against Florida State, William clearly display characteristics that translate to the NFL. He’s currently my third rated corner on my big board.

– UCLA LB Myles Jack will not fully participate in next Tuesday’s NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis because of his recovery from knee surgery. Jack is rated as my number one linebacker in this year’s draft.

– Southeastern Louisiana’s CB Harlan Miller has been a name that has caused some buzz over the past few weeks since the senior bowl. At 6’1 190lbs, Miller showed that he belonged against some of the nation’s best receivers. Miller is my number seven rated corner in this year’s draft.

– One player that I was very impressed by when watching film was San Jose State’s RB Tyler Ervin. He doesn’t impress you with size (5’9 190lbs) but he does possess great qualities to become an offensive weapon at the next level.

– This year’s safety draft class may be weaker than ones in the past but there a few that could make headlines in the NFL. Kevin Byard is one of the few natural ball hawks that has great size and field awareness. Look for his name to be called on Day 2 of the draft.
