The best, the rest
Steelers vs. Seahawks, 4:25 ET on Sunday, CBS
The Pick: Steelers win, 33-30.
Game of the week here. I’ll even go with overtime to keep things exciting. Pittsburgh’s offense takes over on the last drive and delivers a final statement to put them in contention for not only a playoff spot, but the AFC North with several weeks to go.
Either way, this one comes down to one score.
Cardinals vs. 49ers, 4:05 ET on Sunday, FOX
The Pick: Cardinals win, 34-17.
Anyone have any arguments here?
Good.
San Francisco’s season was over before it started, while Arizona looks to be the surprise Super Bowl pick of the year. They were trendy before the year began — now, it’s a wise pick. Both sides of the ball are playing their best football when it counts. Birds for the win.
Patriots vs. Broncos, 8:25 ET on Sunday, NBC
The Pick: Patriots win, 34-27.
New England is the best team in the league and there’s no reason to believe that Brock Osweiler is going to keep up with what Belichick and Brady have to offer. While I believe in the future after Manning, there’s not a chance I’ll go with anyone other than the perfect defending champs.
Ravens vs. Browns, 8:30 ET on Monday, ESPN
The pick: Browns win, 17-14.
Matt Schaub vs. Josh McCown on primetime.
Need we say more?
Flip a coin, pick your winner and perhaps … go to bed early. Nothing to miss here that you can’t see in the box-score on Tuesday morning.
