Sunday games at 1pm — Part 2

Bucs vs. Colts, 1:00 ET on Sunday, FOX

The Pick: Bucs win, 28-24.

If it weren’t for Jameis Winston’s performance last week, I’d give the veteran Hasselbeck the edge and the win. But, there’s something about this Tampa Bay team that intrigues me.

A bit of a coin flip here. Give the road team with more big-play threat.

Bills vs. Chiefs, 1:00 ET on Sunday, CBS

The Pick: Chiefs win, 24-23.

You could make a legitimate case for either team winning by any fashion here. We’ve seen both of these guys perform all over the map thus far — now, it comes down to word of the year: momentum.

Very hard to not give that edge to Kansas City at this point. After winning four straight, a win against the Bills makes them the clear contender for the 5 seed in the AFC. Because of that, the edge goes to KC at home.

Raiders vs. Titans, 1:00 ET on Sunday, CBS

The Pick: Titans win, 29-20.

Have you seen Oakland lately? The early-season stretch was a mere mirage looking toward the playoff race. Bottom line, they just aren’t the team they were, and quite frankly the team we wanted them to be.

Tennessee can play. Mariota and Co. are growing as the weeks go on, and at home, I’ll go with the Titans as my upset special of the weekend.

Chargers vs. Jaguars, 1:00 ET on Sunday, CBS

The Pick: Jaguars win, 33-19.

What a tale of two teams who we all thought would be fairly even at this point of the season. Jacksonville is still clearly in the midst of a playoff spot with the incredible lack of talent around the AFC; San Diego’s fall from grace has come quickly and abruptly.

Give me Jacksonville in the comforts of their own home — a two-score season-crusher for San Diego.

Dolphins vs. Jets, 1:00 ET on Sunday, CBS

The Pick: Jets win, 24-20.

The Jets squeak by in an AFC Wild Card showdown. Ryan Tannehill and his offense have more big play threat, but the trustworthy stability on the other side trumps in this one.

A close game, but the bearded Fitzpatrick takes home a win.
