Sunday games at 1pm — Part 1
Saints vs. Texans, 1:00 ET on Sunday, FOX
The Pick: Texans win, 30-28.
The Saints’ conundrum of a season is incredibly tricky to analyze, while Houston is in reaching distance of sole possession of first place in the AFC South.
At Houston, the Texans gain the edge while New Orleans continues to slip and slide in the Drew Brees era.

Rams vs. Bengals, 1:00 ET on Sunday, FOX
The Pick: Bengals win, 33-17.
We’ve seen what the Rams are this season. Now, against Cincinnati in a road game against a team which has dropped two straight? Give the “lock of the week” category another candidate.
I trust Marvin Lewis to turn things around in time to get hot before the playoffs. At home, this can be a nice start.
Vikings vs. Falcons, 1:00 ET on Sunday, FOX
The Pick: Falcons win, 32-28.
Tricky pick here. I love what Minnesota is and what they will be in the future, but they’re one season away from being a legitimate Super Bowl contender. Atlanta is fighting for their season, needing a statement game to catch any grasp of momentum they can get.
The Vikings drop two straight with Wild Card hopes while the Falcons climb right back into the top of the hunt.
Giants vs. Redskins, 1:00 ET on Sunday, FOX
The Pick: Giants win, 26-17.
As tired as I am of using the Kirk Cousins quote of the year, it’s very hard to leave it out whenever I write about Washington. Bottom line, Redskins fans won’t “like that” once this one is over.
The Giants are no contender, but much more so than Washington. This game has blowout written all over it — on the road, NYG wins by two scores, effectively ending the Redskins season.
