College Football Playoffs Predictions: Who’s In and Who’s Out

facebooktwitterreddit

The second round of college football playoffs poll of the season will be announced tonight, so the NFL Mocks staff decided to predict the top four teams. In the first round of picks, Clemson came out as the committees first team, followed by LSU, Ohio State, and Alabama. The selection committee clearly looked at strength of schedule a little closer this season, so some of our writers did the same.

We also decided to pick the first team out, a position no team ever wants to be in.

Check out what our staff thought prior to the first rankings being posted.

Tyler Morales: 1) Clemson 2) Alabama 3) Ohio State 4) Baylor

Here are the first teams out in the opinion of our staff:

Tyler Morales: Stanford

Shawn Spencer: LSU

Rodney Stokes: LSU

Jonah Tuls: Baylor

David Holmes: LSU

George Stockburger: Oklahoma State

While their rankings aren’t as highly viewed at this point, the AP Poll did rank Clemson number one overall. Ohio State, Alabama and Baylor claimed their final three spots, while Oklahoma State just missed the cut. LSU, Michigan State, and TCU saw the biggest drops after being perennial favorites all season.
