Despite the stats, Sam Bradford isn’t getting it done with Chip Kelly. The reason Chip brought him in was because of his accuracy and ability to not turn the ball over. What Kelly wants is exactly that. He wants an efficient quarterback to run his fast-paced offense. Kaepernick has never been a really accurate quarterback in his career, boosting a career 59.9% completion percentage. Turnovers haven’t historically been a big deal, but he’s throwing nearly one for every touchdown this season.

The running ability gives you something to look at, but he’s never been someone who’s blown you away with speed. I think it’s an interesting idea, but I don’t see it happening.
