Jim Caldwell, Detroit Lions

– With a once promising Detroit Lions team starting 0-4, something is bound to change soon. Although I don’t believe Jim Caldwell deserves the brunt of the blame as he is not the one calling the plays offensively, but I just do not see him being the coach that players fight to play for. This has shown early on this season, but there is still hope for Detroit to come back strong this season as they still have a playoff-caliber offense. However, the fact that this offense has not lived up to its talent thus far could spell bad news for the Detroit Lions coaching staff. More specifically, I would be stunned if either Joe Lombardi or Jim Caldwell are on this staff by the end of the season if these woes continue for Detroit.
